what i learned about : Protista

Protista have good and bad things about them.
Like Plasmodium is a genus of parositic protozoa, which can cause malaria.
Water molds cause diseases such as dieback and light blight in potatoes.
Dinoflagettes cause red tide and they contain toxins that effect people as well as water critters.
The ashes of kelp are rich in ( iodine & alkali ] its ashes are used in the production of ( soap & glass ]
Alginate ( derived from kelp carbohydrate ] is used to thicken products such as ( icecream , jelly , salad dressing , toothpaste , dog food , and japanese cuisines ]
